Mine Fleet Tracking

Fleet tracking shows where every haul truck is, what it is carrying, and whether it is on route. It feeds the dispatch decisions that keep the trucks working.

What it is

Mine fleet tracking uses GPS position and vehicle status to show the live state of the haul fleet. Combined with dispatch, it lets supervisors reassign loads, change routes, and see cycle delays as they happen. Tracking tells you where trucks are; it does not design the haul roads or the pit.

Capabilities iCeipts documents for this workflow

  • Real-time fleet GPS tracking and route optimisation
  • AI-powered vehicle and load assignment
  • UHF RFID-tagged vehicle gate-to-gate tracking
  • Digital proof of delivery via driver mobile app

Capabilities reflect iCeipts' published feature set. Confirm specific integrations and reports during a demo.

How the workflow runs

  1. Each vehicle reports its GPS position and status to the fleet view.
  2. Dispatch assigns the next load based on the live fleet state.
  3. Route optimisation is applied to the assigned routes.
  4. RFID tags record gate-to-gate movement independently of GPS.
  5. Proof of delivery from the driver app closes each trip and updates the record.

Frequently asked questions

What is mine fleet tracking?

Mine fleet tracking shows the live position and status of haul trucks and other mobile equipment, so operations can see the fleet as it works and act on delays.

Is fleet tracking the same as dispatch?

No. Tracking shows where vehicles are. Dispatch decides which vehicle takes which load. The two work together, and iCeipts provides both.

Can fleet tracking work with gate and weighbridge records?

iCeipts documents RFID gate-to-gate tracking and weighbridge integration. Confirm during a demo how they link to the trip record and its weights.

Does fleet tracking replace haul-cycle planning?

No. Haul-cycle and truck-shovel planning belong to planning and optimisation software. Fleet tracking supplies the live data those tools can use, but it does not do the planning itself.
